I fully understand the importance of timely support, especially when your child is suffering. Local Authority and NHS services have never been so stretched- things just do not move quickly, and there will be many obstacles in the your path.

Having a SEN advocate can be a cost-effective way of securing the correct level of support your child needs outside of an appeal and without having to instruct a solicitor and pay lawyer fees.

My charging model is simple.

 

I charge on an hourly basis, and I invoice regularly to ensure you always know where you stand. It may be that you only require one hour of my time, or you may wish to dip in and out with questions or emails of which we log the time and calculate into hours spent corresponding with you. You may need a little more concentrated bespoke support and that’s fine too.

Any expenses that might occur will be discussed; this could be travel expenses, printing or accommodation. We ask that you read and sign my terms and conditions to ensure you are happy before work commences. Our contract for services can be terminated by either party at any time and we will always give you at least a weeks’ notice.

We use Xero accounting software and will invoice via that platform,  invoices can be paid by payment link or bank transfer.

Cambridge Independent SEND Service Fee Model

​

• Initial case review and next steps planning  £65 per hour

• Standard hourly rate £45 per hour

• Complex case management, inc legislation, one off consults , out of county work £65 per hour

• Travel time £35 per hour

• Mileage 45p per mile

• Printing at cost, per page

• Overnight accommodation at cost
